Starting your own business – two sides of a coin
Barbara Lax
Founder and Director of Littlegreenhouse
Join our February lunch conference and listen to Barbara Lax sharing her experience, tips and tricks on the way to realizing a dream and making a living out of it.
The Little Green House foundation is the story of a successful business venture offering child-care to over 600 families, giving jobs to more than 100 educators, in the region.
But what sounds like a fairy-tale today, was paved with difficulties, sacrifice and even failure. Barbara Lax will candidly address both sides of the coin, offering invaluable insight to those who think about starting up their own business; maybe even like Barbara, leaping from the secure income of a corporate engineering job to the insecure success of a start-up in the social sector.
About the Little Green House
The Little Green House care system fosters the intrinsic abilities of children, allowing them to grow up freely, happily and healthily. In the Little Green House, children discover that they are important and that they have an impact on the world around them. They discover the multilingual, international environment of the region and learn to live in harmony with nature, friends, family and teachers.
