Inspirational Lunch with Dania Samawi, International Ambassador to the Swiss Red Cross

Let’s start the year under the banner of solidarity and commitment to those most in need.

Our very first guest of 2024 is an International Ambassador to the Swiss Red Cross, Dania Samawi.

Dania began her journey in philanthropy 15 years ago with Action Sabrina, a Swiss Foundation dedicated to assisting families with children facing cancer. In 2010, Dania joined the Swiss Red Cross with a mission to raise funds for victims of forgotten disasters. She co-chaired fundraising events for six years, actively contributing to this cause.

Dania’s unwavering commitment extended beyond the boardroom as she embarked on journeys to witness firsthand the Red Cross’s projects, including visits to Armenia, Nepal, and refugee camps in Lebanon. Additionally, she was appointed to the Support and Development Board of the Swiss Red Cross.

Despite challenging circumstances brought about by the Covid pandemic, she founded Tiffany Circle Switzerland in 2021, an International Network for women leaders and philanthropist who support and advance the work of the Red Cross and was recognized for her unwavering commitment when she was honored with the title of International Ambassador of the Swiss Red Cross in 2022.

Over the lunch, Dania will share with us her mission and her work with the Red Cross. But this will also be an opportunity to get to know her better and to learn more about her other projects and the message she wants to convey to women from all walks of life.
