Program

  • 18:00 Welcome
  • 18:00 – 20:30 Workshop
  • 20:30 – 21:30 Networking & Dinner Cocktail

Cyber threats have grown so large that their consequences can significantly impact an organisation’s valuation and reputation. As a result, Boards of Directors are taking an increasing interest in their organisations’ security strategy. What about you? How much do you think about network security and data privacy? What do you know about these ever-increasing risks?

If you are a current/future Board Member or a manager experiencing the increasing concern about cybersecurity risks in your organisation, this workshop is for you. Come to learn the core concepts of security risks, discover what matters most in the boardroom, and what could make cybersecurity conversations smarter. The workshop is open to men as well as women and will cover the following points:

  • Being comfortable speaking with your Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)
  • Knowing the most important questions to ask about cybersecurity
  • What kind of information regarding your organisation’s cyber-threats you should expect to be briefed on
  • The type of security metrics you need to be familiar with
  • How to feel that your organisation’s cybersecurity programme is keeping it safe
