With over 20 years of international experience, Charles has a strong track record in leading, advising and conducting Internal Audit, Risk and Forensic Departments and engagements for blue chip companies in diversified complex industries worldwide.
During his career, he held different senior positions; Chief Audit & Risk Executive for a World Leader in Trading Commodities, Business Partner/Head of Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance service line at KPMG, Group Vice-President Finance and SOX Director at Alcatel Lucent Technologies , Chief Audit Executive at Suez-Lyonnaise, Auditor for the French Government (Ambassador Office in Washington D.C – Intelligence Services).
Charles has led numerous Enterprise Risk Management mandates for global and diversified clients, such as STMicroelectronics, Tetra Laval, WHO, UNICEF, ILO, IFRC, Lukoil, and also regional Swiss institutions SIG, HEARC, TPG, Cours des Comptes, … and conducted engagements both supporting in-house functions through strategic partnering relationships and running large global outsourced contracts.
Dr. Klaus Julisch is a Partner in Deloitte Switzerland where he leads the Cyber Risk Services team. He has over 17 years of experience in the areas of security and privacy and specializes in delivering innovative security solutions and large-scale transformation programs to global organizations. Klaus’s work has been published internationally in over 20 articles and he holds 15 patents in the areas of security and privacy.
He was the program manager for over 24 months for the cyber security program at a tier-1 global bank. In charge of delivering 15 projects addressing all aspects of cyber security and managing a multi-million Swiss-Franc budget. Delivery was based on the Rational Unified Process and required extensive collaboration across geographies, business divisions, and functions including IT Risk, Security CTO, Privacy and Legal
He defined the security strategy, including budgets, project roadmap, and recommendations on organizational re-alignment for a tier-1 Swiss bank. Covered all major security domains including Data Protection, Cyber Security, Network Security, Application Security and Identity and Access Management
